About me
Rica is a TESOL and TEYL certified ESL teacher who has been teaching English since 2016, with more than 2,100 lessons and over 100 students on See Guru, where she is rated five stars. Her lessons stay practical, built around clear communication and real situations rather than theory. She works with learners at every level, including adults preparing for IELTS or TOEFL, and her calm manner makes speaking up easy.

My name is Rica David. You can call me Rica. I have a varied experience in ESL teaching, and I’ve worked with diverse learners for many years. My background includes planning and delivering lessons to children and adults. I give instructions in General English, Business English, Job Interview Practice, Exam Preparations, among others —all with the aim of helping students achieve their goals. If your goal is to get that job, then you're on the right page. As an experienced Human Resources Assistant, I handled multiple interviewees and helped my previous company hire people effectively. That's why I know how to help you answer those interview questions. In my class, I make sure that students feel heard and understood. I teach in a manner that encourages them to speak without the fear of making mistakes.
