Teacher Gracyl

I am Gracyl Marie Parilla, I'm 30 years old and I was born in a small town in Surigao Del Sur, Philippines. I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Cebu (Main Campus). Few months after I graduated, I was given a chance to work as a marketing assistant in one of the leading Real Estate Development Company in the Philippines. I stayed with them for 7 years and within that time, I had the opportunity to handle and be assigned in 3 different areas within the Visayas. I was able to work myself up to the organization ladder and became the Sales and Marketing Head of Cebu and the Head for Brokers Recruitment, Training and Development for the Visayas. Part of my job is to oversee the entire operation of the department for all the projects in the province. My department is responsible in formulating strategies as well as implementing them to ensure good sales performance. After spending a little more than 7 years in the real estate industry, I decided to move on and look for other opportunities that would allow me to gain new knowledge and skills. Just this year, I gained confidence to pursue a teaching career and started teaching English online to Chinese students both children and adults. Coming from a family of public school teachers here in the Philippines, I always knew the importance of education. And being an online English teacher now, I made it my personal goal to not only teach but to also encourage my students to be more enthusiastic in learning especially the English language.
