About me

In a typical phonics lesson, the teacher begins by engaging students in activities that enhance their phonemic awareness, then introduces a specific phonics rule, provides explicit instruction and modeling, and guides students through hands-on word-building exercises, reading practice, and writing activities, all aimed at reinforcing the connection between sounds and written symbols. Throughout the lesson, various materials such as phonics workbooks, letter cards, and interactive whiteboards are used, and the teacher assesses students' understanding through both informal checks and more formal assessments, ensuring differentiation to meet diverse learning needs.
