About me

Kristine is passionate about empowering students to find their voice in English. With a background in Information Technology and two years of experience teaching ESL at Acadsoc, she blends a structured approach with engaging, real-world applications. Her time spent providing home-based English tutoring in Japan, coupled with TESOL, TEFL, and Accent Training certifications, allows her to create supportive and effective learning experiences. Kristine’s love for reading inspires her “Read to understand” approach, igniting a similar passion in her students. From early childhood learners to adults preparing for job interviews or studying abroad, Kristine fosters a love of language and empowers her students to confidently navigate the English-speaking world. She also offers basic Japanese lessons, having passed the JLPT N5 examination, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and cross-cultural understanding.
