What's up our adorable kids! I am Teacher Mariz. I love reading and I will be your guide to learn and improve your speed in reading! Let us work together with your emergent literacy, alphabetic fluency, words and patterns, intermediate reading, and advanced reading. These six aspects work together to create the reading experience. As children learn to read they must develop skills in all five of these areas in order to become successful readers. I am passionate in Teaching, so even if you are a beginner or zero level of knowledge in English language that is totally fine because I'd be glad to help you every step of the way! I integrate literature, Writers' Workshop, phonics activities, and technology to ensure that each child is able to comprehend and retain the concepts and language. My goal is to foster and maintain an open, honest, communicative, and supportive classroom, in which each student feels safe, secure, special, and appropriately challenged but not pressured.
