Question 1

How do the free trial lessons work?

Accepted Answer

Every new student gets 3 free 25-minute trial lessons — no payment info needed until you decide to continue.

Question 2

How to cancel or move a lesson?

Accepted Answer

If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you can write to our support or do it yourself in your profile.

Question 3

What is the cost after the trial?

Accepted Answer

Lesson prices are set individually by each tutor and typically start from $5 per 25-minute lesson, averaging around $8-15 depending on the language and the tutor's experience. The exact price for every tutor is shown upfront on their profile and on the booking screen — you can also save by ordering packages of 10, 25, 50 or 100 lessons.

Question 4

How long does a lesson last?

Accepted Answer

SEE.GURU offers lessons of 25 and 55 minutes to choose from, but a trial lesson lasts 25 minutes only. For young children we recommend classes of 25 minutes. Many scientific studies show that this is the optimal time for children to concentrate on individual lessons with native speakers. If you think your child is ready, feel free to book a 55-minute lesson.

Question 5

How many lessons per week do we need for better results?

Accepted Answer

For steady progress we recommend 2-3 lessons per week. Adults aiming for conversational fluency benefit most from 3 sessions of 25-55 minutes each; for kids 2-3 short 25-minute sessions per week keep motivation high. Daily practice gives the fastest results — that's what most of our top-performing students do.

Question 6

Will I have a different teacher after paying for the lessons?

Accepted Answer

No, you will continue with the same teacher that you had at the trial lesson. But you can change the teacher any time at no additional cost.

Question 7

Can I get a tuition discount?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on the SEE GURU platform, you can get various discounts: using a promo code, through the referral program `Bring a friend`, on religious and non-religious holidays, for clicking on Facebook ads, on your birthday, for a corporate lesson package, on `Black Friday`, as well as on other occasions.

Question 8

How to pay for classes?

Accepted Answer

After the trial lesson, you will receive a payment link. You can pay for either one lesson or a package of 10, 25, 50, or 100 sessions. Choose the package, select a payment method (PayPal, Visa/Mastercard), click `Pay now`. You can also use Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Question 9

I've finished the trial lesson, how do I continue learning with the teacher?

Accepted Answer

You can take only one free trial lesson with one teacher, so to continue studying with the same teacher, you will need to pay for the next lessons.
